About me
In my sporting past I have practiced several combat disciplines for many years: 1982 Black belt 1st dan Karate Shotokan, 1994 Black belt 2nd Grade Kick Boxing, 1994 Federal Instructor F.I.A.M. - W.A.K.O. of Kick Boxing. In this competitive activity I got some results: regional champion, vice-national team champion, 3rd at the international cup Switzerland, 4th at the Golden dragon semi-contact-Pro (behind 2 world champions and 1 European), and others. I then moved on to competitive boxing for several years (with a brief "incursion" into Chinese boxing - Sandà, winning the Lombard regional title in 1994 and 2nd place in the national competition held in Milan, with the fastest meeting record concluded by KO inflicted on the opponent in just 17 seconds), then in 2000 I met Maestro Marcello Sidoti and Maestro Shi Rong Hua, who introduced me to Tai Chi Chuan and helped me to appreciate the countless and fascinating hidden aspects. In 2007 I had the pleasure and the honor of meeting and attending my current Master: Robin Gracie, with whom I am continuing the training in the Gracie Jiu Jitsu (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), since then I spend almost every day struggling and trying to grow in understanding the wonderful art of human movement and its use for health and self-defense. I also work as a physiotherapist at the San Francesco nursing home in Bergamo, in the U.O. of Rehabilitative Medicine and as a freelancer in my Manual Therapy ambulatory, I am also a professor at the University of Milan - Bicocca in the Faculty of Medicine of the Physiotherapy Section and for Post-refresher courses in Manual Therapy, for over ten years now colleagues in clinical rehabilitation practice.
